By the way, I should have mentioned this earlier but forgot: This Week In Gratitude was inspired by Joy Pockets, found just often enough at Holistic Mama.
the big ceramic mug full of coffee that warms my hands
Bill Prysocki’s yoga podcasts that make me laugh and burst into tears every. single. time
the gifts that spill out when I’m really present with children
crunching snow underfoot on bright, crystalline days
the endless inspiration at Ravelry
allowing myself to be moved by the lessons children teach me
friends who say “Yes!” when I say “Can I really?”
being able to believe it myself

What are you grateful for?

I am grateful for your inspiring posts!
and for you teaching me how to blog
and for the validation I receive from those who have read my books
and for having my family close most of the time except when someone is in Korea or Germany or Maryland or some place like that
and for too many other things to list here.
Life is good.

being able to read blogs that lift my spirits
the joy I find in Ravelry friends from around the world (machine knitting groups & Kaffe Fasset group)
the way snow actually DOES crunch under my feet on a cold day (like today, YIKES)
the way blessings just keep on coming…some in the strangest disguises
getting to read children’s books to little ones at the library (WAY FUN)
people who remind me to take a moment and BE grateful (THANKS, Maggie!)

Grateful for you in my life, and that is truth. (Eric made me mist up :’} )
Grateful for the ones who love me/I love unconditionally.
Grateful to be able to share the gift of song and story onstage – not as in “I have this gift that was given to me” , but as in “This gift is for YOU. I am proud to give it. ”
Grateful for stability when it comes and for chaos when it comes, too.
And for the ones who have taught me to accept and embrace Change and a very good thing.
